Russian contest for rural schoolchildren


About the contest
The All-Russian contest called "AgroNTI - 2019"; will be held among the students of 5–10 years of studying in rural schools, according to three age categories, four directions and four stages.
The aim of the contest is to involve students from rural schools in work with technological priorities of the National Technology Initiative (NTI), showing them high-tech projects in agriculture.
To apply for the contest, you have to fill in the application on the website. Each participant has an opportunity to apply for all four directions. There are special tasks or tests for each direction.
Using drones to solve problems in agriculture
Using satellite images and web-GIS technology in agriculture
Automated control systems for agricultural machinery
Weather forecasting, weather archive creation, analytics
Contest stages
April 1-25
Extra-mural regional stage: the participants are schoolchildren from all regions of Russia.
May 12-13
Intra-mural regional stage: the winners of the extra-mural regional stage. It is to be held by agricultural universities of Russia.
September 5-6
The final stage is to be held in early September 2019 in all the categories of the contest.
October 10-13
The winners of the final stage will have an opportunity to take part in a special Russian agricultural exhibition called Golden Autumn 2019.
The competition is held by the Innovation Support Fund together with the non-profit organization called Association of Educational Institutions of the AIC and Fisheries with the support of the Department of Scientific and Technological Policy and Education, the Department of Digital Development and Management of State Information Resources of the AIC of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
